Over the past season my studio has been shaped by three intersecting lines of inquiry. Con Jobs is moving into its public phase, examining the evidence of its own outputs while exploring possibilities for a dedicated institutional home. Beautiful Soup is deep in production, a large-scale investigation into authorship, extraction, and the aesthetics of borrowed memory—work that continues to expand into a richer, more confrontational form as the renderings evolve. Alongside these projects, Cera has grown into an adaptive system for thinking about mentorship, creativity, and machine intelligence, blurring the line between artistic research and applied toolmaking.

Taken together, these threads signal a shift in the studio: a turn toward work that interrogates not just what AI generates, but what it absorbs, obscures, and leaves behind. The convergence of public intervention, conceptual image-making, and system-level design is defining the next direction of the practice.
